This fall we’re attending THREE bookish events, new to us. We will be in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina. If you’re in the area, we hope you’ll stop by and say hi and buy a book!
Sat., Oct. 14, 2023: Write Women Book Fest, Author Expo & Reader Day – features women authors in a variety of genres, signings, live poetry, panel discussions, swag, and bookish merch! 12pm-5pm, Comfort Inn Conference Center, 4500 Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD – admission is $29, get your tickets here.
Sat., Oct. 21, 2023: Books and Brews, event featuring 20 local authors. 11am-4pm, Old Ox Brewery, 44652 Guilford Dr., Ashburn, VA.
Sat., Nov. 4, 2023: The Geekery Market, a festival of geeky artisans of ALL fandoms. It’s a place where you can buy handmade items that you might not find anywhere else – certainly not at those big box-type stores. Come check out over 50 unique artisans selling their sci fi, fantasy and nerdy wares! 10am-4pm, Cabarrus Arena & Events Center – 4751 NC Highway 49 (Event Center B), Concord, NC – admission is a canned good to benefit Second Harvest Ministries. Parking is $7 per car (credit/debit only)
A Maven’s Key Audiobook Arrives in September
Nicole has been working hard on getting our second audiobook, A Maven’s Key, finalized for release with our narrator, Ray Calleja. He is the perfect voice for Marn and he has an incredible accent. If you’d like to learn more about Ray, check out his Instagram and IMDB page.
